How to Use Waterproof Additive of Cement Mortar

1. The usage method and dosage of waterproof additives for cement mortar are as follows.

1. Construction: Add additives according to 5% of the weight of cement, pour water into it, mix it mechanically and place it slightly for 5-10 minutes, then mix the cement slurry for batch filing and compacting and plastering construction.

2. Material requirements: Cement label not less than 32.5.

3. Usage and dosage

(1) Base surface treatment: solid, fully wet but without clear water, no floating or sinking, oil pollution, loose materials and other materials affecting the bonding of the base.

(2) plastering twice:

(1) Interface layer: In the clean and moist base layer, the stirred slurry should be scraped a little hardly as a waterproof interface layer. When scraping, it should be full and compact.

(2) Waterproof layer: After the interfacial layer is scraped, a mortar is scraped on it as a waterproof layer. The direction of scraping should be 90 degrees with the interfacial layer. When scraping is done, it should be covered and compacted. After the waterproof layer is finally solidified, it should be maintained. Usually, when the waterproof layer is white, it should be sprinkled lightly with flowers, several times a day, and the maintenance period is 3-7 days.

Note: 1. Each cubic mortar is calculated according to the cement dosage of 400 kg.
